Your Turn

Come talk to me.  Do you have a question about "transitioning"?  Adult life skills?  How to balance your checking account, how to do the laundry, how to figure out what you want to be "when you grow up"?

This is the place to come.  Ask me what you'd like and I'll try to answer it for you...or find out where to go for the answer.

  1. I have a hard time folding laundry. Every time I try, it looks worse than if I were to just wad it up. Is there a way for me to be able to fold my clothes and make them look nice rather than something I just threw together?

  2. Folding clothes is about symmetry--finding the likeness on each side of the middle. See those pants legs? Fold one on top of the other then in half length-wise and you're done. See the sleeves on the tee-shirt? Let one lie on top of the other, then fold the top to the bottom and you're done.

The idea in folding is to keep clothes from wrinkling. They don't have to look like they just came out of the store. You can accomplish the task with just that simple once-over-once-down technique. Good luck!
